Join us as we delve deeper into your Pilates practice and explore new exercises and flows. All abilities are very welcome and options will be given to progress exercises. Pilates builds strength and agility from the inside out, with a focus on alignment. balance, flexibility and deep postural muscles you will feel the positive effects from this more dynamic paced Pilates practice.
Shake up your day, rise from your desk, grab your 1kg hand weights (1.5/2kg also) and lets move with the feedback of the weights to tone, lengthen, strengthen and energise for the rest of the day.
Kick those mid-week blues with a Pilates and movement class that will leave you feeling taller, leaner, younger, lighter and happier. “Sona” means a feeling of satisfaction, joy and contentment and that’s just what this class will do as we move, reach, strengthen and flow through Pilates principles, animal flow and beyond!
LIVE STREAM PILATES IN YOUR HOME – This Pilates Mat Class utilises Pilates Props and key principles to work through the whole body in a fun and adaptable session that will leave you feeling better aligned, glowing and connected! Grab your trigger point balls, Overball and Dyna-band as we use the props to support our practice and delve further into what we can achieve. Step away from your desk, roll our your mat…in fact just clear some floor space and let’s explore, move and play using Pilates, yoga, bodyweight exercises and animal flow.
Join us for a dynamic Pilates class that will leave you energised and ready for anything. Moving through the whole body we will shake of the stresses of the week, energise the body and release tension through flowing sequences we repeat and natural movement patterns. Intuitive, creative and feels a little like contemporary dance – this is one of Leanne’s favourite classes!
Grab your foam roller (full length 90cm) and join us once a month as we release, lengthen, roll, target, strengthen and of course play on this wonderful prop! The foam roller is great at supporting you to drop back into your parasympathetic nervous system, your rest and digest. But also a wonderful aid to challenge the body and replicate some of the exercises you would find on the reformer and other Pilates equipment.
This now weekly extra special Pilates class uses the Spiky Trigger Point Massage Balls to release tension, support the body in finding range, challenging our perceptions in exercises and generally just leave us all feeling wonderful by the end. The trigger point balls are a specific type with a bit of give in them, so not solid hard ones. Speak to Leanne for more information
Join us for the monthly Sona Saturday class where we explore movement, mobility, strength and the flexibility using a fusion of practices from Pilates, Dance, Animal Flow and bio-mechanics practice. A definite highlight to any weekend!
